My Gotcha Day

5 Years ago today I was rescued from a cornfield in northeast Nebraska. I was lonely, cold, dirty and starving.


This picture is from 3 days after I was brought to my new home. You can see how thin I was. Mom and dad found out I had a tapeworm, and that if they hadn't found me, I would have starved to death.

As soon as I got here, I made myself right at home on the couch.


This is still my most favorite spot in the house! I think I'll spend this special day in much the say way!


From starving and lonely, to well-fed and very loved. I couldn't be happier to have found such a wonderful furever home!



Thanks so much mom and dad, for finding me, and giving me the perfect home!

Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

It's a beautiful day here in my neighborhood. Blizzard conditions with wind gusts up to 50 mph, and lovely temps in the single digits to below zero!!! I don't think a northern breed dog could ask for a better day!!
