Kissing and making up isn't going to work!

Although we are almost completely melted here, the good news is that it is going to start to cool down beginning Sunday. Thank goodness! Now, if the snow would just hurry up and get here!

Hello all.

I know most of you are aware of the incident with Bear-Bear being shot by an off-duty federal officer (Keith Shephard) in a dog park in Severn Maryland. If not, please go to this link for a current update.

We are so sad, and angry over this incident that it is best if we don't say much, otherwise the HBO words start to flow. We have sent letters to several officials (see Khyra and Meeshka's blogs) to show our support for justice for Bear-Bear.

And, as we were reading the updates on our good friend Phantom over at the OP Pack, we saw that their friends The Feisty Three have created a Paws of Prayer circle.

Of course we wanted to join in and offer our prayers to all those pups out there who need them. For the passing of beloved pets, for lost pets, and ill pets, we cross all our paws in prayer. And, we are sending lots of vibes for their humans to remain strong.

Pawty!

Hey every buddy! Khady Lynn here! This weekend I got to go to a very special pawty! It was a Siberian Husky pawty!! A lady mom and dad met through Therapy Dogs, Inc. created an Omaha meet-up group so we could meet other Sibes and have some fun. And, boy did we!
Check it out!

Here are some of the cool Sibes I met. There was a total of 8 of us! And, best of all, I finally got to meet fellow blogging buddy Rocco!! I always love meeting my blogging friends in pawson! Rocco is the one right behind me.

We all liked hanging out by the water bowl while the big pool filled.

This smart Sibe (Badger?) is playing king of the hill. (I haven't learned who every pup is yet)

Here I am hanging out in the mini pool with Blue (white Sibe), Jambalaya (red Sibe) and another Sibe (not sure who, either Badger or Rocco).

I was totally digging the mini pool. It was so cool and refreshing!

Here is Jambalaya joining me. We spent a lot of time together in the pool!

And then, I got to get in the BIG pool!! Jambalaya was hanging out there with me too.

This is Sabre (black and white), Jambalaya (rolling around) and another Sibe checking out some cool smells in the yard.

Blue and I joined Jambalaya out in the yard.

I can't tell you what it was that was so fragrant, but boy did these two REALLY like rolling in that grass!

I did a little rolling too, but mom was too slow getting the video going to catch it. Instead, I just watched.

I must say, I had an exceptionally fun time! It was nice playing with so many Sibes who could actually keep up with me. Unlike the lazy butts I have at home! I sure hope we can all get together again soon. And, I promise mom will stop watching, and get better pics and video! It was wonderful meeting Rocco, too. And, a special thanks to Jambalaya, Badger and Blue's mom for setting this up for all of us. She rocks!

Now, if only I could get mom to fill our pool!

It is with extremely sad woo's, and many tears, that we mourn the loss of our friends, Meeka and Tucker.

They both made their journey to the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday. May they wear their silver harnesses with great pride. Godspeed my friends. We are sending lots of hugs to your humans.

We will miss you both.

Exciting Trip

Hey everybuddy! Khady Lynn here! Recently, I got to go on an exciting trip with dad. And, WOW, did I have a good time!

It was time for more food, so dad took me to Petco with him. First stop, the toy aisle!

After that, I got to see some really fun looking toys!

I really wanted to play with those little furry creatures! I had no idea there were so many fun things at the pet food store!

I think dad should take me to visit every week!

Hey everybuddy, Khady Lynn here. One of my jobs is to motivate and energize the residents of the house. Holly is pretty much a lost cause. But, DAD! Well, he's easy!

Besides, he's the only one who actually tries to keep up with me! Somehow, in a house with 5 other dogs, that just seems wrong.

Oh well, at least he's fun. Except for the plucking thing. That's not very fun!
