Sam and I have been taking Meeshka's advice and annoying our humans as much as possible. While mom does her homework (I still don't get that) and sits in the chair, I come over to the recliner and give her the paw, which means she needs to pet me, and give me something to chew on. If she ignores me, then I secretly send signals to Sam, who is really good at coming over and yelling and clawing, and climbing on mom until she gets up and gives him a treat. I, of course, follow along so I can get some too. When she tries to walk away, Sam stays in the kitchen and makes aroo, aroo, woowoowoo noises, meaning, he wants more. I'm smart, cuz I wait with him so I can get more too. She finally gives us our chewys, and we go off to chew. The other three are outside so they don't get any! heehee
We are doing very well at training mom. Dad, on the other hand, we still need to work on, cuz he'll just ignore us when we yell, or gets stern with us and tells us to be quiet.
We did get a nice long walk with dad though while mom was doing that homework stuff. So, with all that exercise, I can get a nice long nap in before dinner. Which will be coming up soon, so I better get to it!

Holly,
I feel your pain about the warm weather. Last Wednesday it was 70 degrees here! Then Friday it was in the fifties.
I just want it to stay cold!
Hi Holly, It's real hot here over in Singapore too. I hope the cool weather come soon...

This is something that bears repeating: HOT WEATHER IS STUPID!!!
Holly,
It seems dads are much harder to train. We don't have to worry about that. Keep working on it, we've seen our grandpa and he is finally trained by our Aunt Lexie (who is also a dachsie).

My dad is trained pretty well, but I think it's because if he doesn't listen to my clawing and nipping, mom yells at him to get me a cookie or pet me or whatever it is that I want at that moment.
I'm with you on the weather thing. Bring on the snow! WOooo WOoooowooooo!
