I'm Nice

Woo's everyone!

Yes, I know the title of this post might have some of you raising an eyebrow, but it's true, I really AM nice! And, my friends Thunder, Dakota, and Phantom of the OP Pack have given me and my little sis Khady this fantastic award!

Wasn't that nice of them?!! Especially to include the little monsterette! I guess she is nice, even though she is constantly bugging me. But, I do enjoy playing with her!

I guess it's ok if I share with her, since she is my puppy!

I really can't choose who to give this award to, because I think ALL my blogging friends are nice! So, if you are reading this, consider the award given to you too!! We are just sooo happy you all come visit us, even though I know I have been VERY lax at getting to all your blogs lately. Taking care of the monsterette keeps me very busy!

While I have been concentrating on the new little monsterette (a.k.a. Khady) living in my house, I have been slow to acknowledge some very special awards that have been presented to me.

A Sad Day

It is with an extremely heavy heart, and leaky eyes, that I say my friend Kelsey Ann of the Kapp Pack has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

I also learned that Timber, from Stella Louella's home has also gone to the bridge.

This is a very sad time for all of us, and we are soooo sorry for their families. They will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Run happy and pain free Kelsey Ann and Timber. May you both wear your Silver Harnesses with great pride.

You will see your humans again one day, until that time, keep watch over them.

Working On My HULA Certificate

Hey there!! Khady here. While big sis is napping, I thought I would jump on and tell everypup, khitty and Girl Girl how good I have been when it comes to working on my HULA Certificate.

Here are some wonderful examples of my work so far;

1. Demonstrate disruptive behavior.

I like to demand my breakfast and dinner. Only this time, dad decided it was a good way to get us all to howl. I just wanted my food!



2. Cause the humans to freak out for no reason.

One night I tried to jump up on mom and dad's bed, where Samuel was eating his food, and didn't make it. I hit the floor and started in with the Husky Death Screams. Mom came running from the other room, and immediately picked me up and started checking me out, cooing at me and asking if I was ok. I then started to wiggle out of her arms, so she set me down, and off I bounced.....perfectly fine!

3. Destroy something.

I'm doing very good on this one!



I'm learning that rugs are tasty, and fun to unravel!





Yep! Those are dad's glasses! He left them where I could reach them. Taught HIM a lesson, didn't I?!!

Well, I think that's pretty good for only being here for a week! I'm still working on the other requirements, but am pretty sure I can have those knocked out fairly quickly!

I Need A Bigger Pool

Harooo every pup, khitty and Girl Girl! My new big sister Holly let me blog. Isn't she nice? I really like her, and she has been really nice in welcoming me.

But, I do have one thing to complain about. The pool here is a bit small. For some reason, all I can fit into it is my feety feet and snooter.

This just isn't working for me.

Finally, I just gave up, and decided to take a nap.

After all, it IS a tough job trying to fit in that little pool.

Pup Pup Puppies are here!

What a great weekend! Two of the Deadliest Catch puppies, Dawn/Lilly and Skipper came to stay with us! Both were going to their new homes this weened. Lilly to Colorado, and Skipper, well, she is staying here.

Pup Pup Puppies!!!!

We are puppy sitting this weekend for the remaining two Deadliest Catch puppies, Lilly and Skipper. They are both going to their new families this weekend! Mom is having quite a good time with them, and has taken TONS of video and pics.

So far, we are all getting along really well with them. Sam, well, is being Sam, and yelling at them. I am trying to keep everypup in line, and making sure they are being good, and not bothering my visitors!

They had a great time running around the yard and playing. Mom is working on getting the video ready to go, but it takes some time.

In the mean time, you will all just have to wait to see the pics and video until Saturday evening.

Talk about a great suspenseful ending.......

Final Episode From My Visit

Here is another video of me and Dave. He is still yelling at me. I sure wish he understood that it wasn't my fault that it took so long for me to visit. Oh well, I still love him anyway!

And here is a pic of me being very nice to Ammy! She is such a nice girl! Although, the look on her face says she might think I'm a little strange!

Well, I hope you all enjoyed hearing, and seeing my great adventure to visit the Army of Four! I sure hope I can go back again some day!! I think Dave and I definitely need more time together!!

Here I am with my darling Dave. Mom is trying to hold me back, cuz I just wanted to give him a big kiss!! She didn't think it was appropriate on our first meeting.

In this picture, I am telling Dave just how happy I am that I finally got to meet him in pawson!! He is even more handsome than I thought! *sigh*

Next, I got to meet Zimmie! He has a tail very similar to Khyra's.

I decided to ask Zim if he could give me some pointers on how to make Dave chill out a bit, since he was yelling at me when I first got here, about taking so long to finally come meet him! Like I wouldn't have come sooner if I could drive myself! Duh!

Our humans wanted us to pose together. We tried really hard to follow Stormy's "Cooperating for Photo's" directions. I think we did pretty good. I was kinda looking at the camera, but was getting ready to get up, as you can tell by my leg.

Before he left, Zim gave me some very top secret information. I was listening intently to every word! Don't worry Zimmie, I've got your six!

Stoopid dad didn't take any pics of me and Ammy. I don't think he could tell Ammy and Zim apart, so he just didn't take any extra photo's. But I do have some video, which I will post tomorrow.

Finally, I got to meet the Supreme Commander of the Army of Four! Dear, sweet Stormy, who always reminds my mom of her Shula. Isn't she beautiful?!?!! As a good trooper, I was sure to show the proper etiquette and bow to her!

Stormy had some very good advice for me regarding Dave, and also how to keep better charge of my pack. I will be sure to take to heart everything she said. She is soooo smart!

After all the meet and greets, and since it was so hot out, I decided it was time to make myself comfortable. We all went inside, and I took the opportunity to do my usual.........nap on the nice cool tile floor!! I was all set to start dreaming of my darling Davie!

After a while of the humans chatting, Mom and dad decided to head home. I had such a great time visiting with the Ao4, and finally meeting my true love! After we pulled away from the house, I became sad. Oh Dave, I sure hope we can see each other again soon!

The Road to Oz

Yesterday mom and dad packed me up, put me in the car, and off we went. We drove for a really long time, and at one point they let me out to stretch my legs and do my "business." I noticed a sign that said I was on The Road to Oz! Oz? I don't know anyone named Oz, so why are we on this road to see him? Then I thought to myself, "wait, I seem to recall mom watching a movie about a place called Oz." It was about this girl named Dorothy, who was from Kansas, and she got hit by a tornado (duh, it's Kansas) and when she woke up, WAIT!!!! KANSAS???? That's where my darling Dave lives!!!!" Oh, how exciting! I am going to see my true love Dave, and the rest of the Army of Four!!!


When we finally stopped, I got to meet Dave's mom and dad first. They were very happy to see me! They gave me tummy rubs, and generally just praised my beauty! I'll get to that later.




And then, to my surprise......

My darling, adorable, Dave!!! I don't think he was too happy that it took me so long to get down there to see him, cuz he sure had a lot to say about it! But, as you can see, I was trying to let him know it wasn't my fault, and that I was very happy to see him! He practically made me swoon with how handsome he was in pawson!!!!

Tomorrow, I will post more pics and videos of the rest of my visit. I am off to nap, and dream of my sweet, adorable Dave! *heavy sigh*

Road Trip

Apparently I am going on a road trip tomorrow. Mom won't tell me anything about it. I hope it's somewhere fun.

I also had a visit from my friend Eva!! She got a new brother, and they stopped through Omaha for a visit! I promise to get pics of our visit up soon, (thanks to Eva's mom and dad cuz my mom is stoopid and forgot her camera), but if you can't wait, stop over to her blog for a sneak peak!!

I'll let you know what happens on my trip later. I need my beauty sleep now.

My very good friend Tubey lost one of his pack mates. Niki was 15, and lived her final 2 years with Tubey's family.

After Niki's human passed away, she went to live with Tubey's family. Tubey's mom took very good care of her, and gave her lots of love in her final years.

Sweet Niki 6, may you fun free at last, with no more pain. May you wear your Silver Harness with great pride. And, may you be happy once again with your dad, Don. Even though you didn't like your picture to be taken, I think you were quite beautiful.

Proof I'm a Princess

Finally!! The stupid human woman got me my crown. It's about time! After all, I am a Princess, so I should have a crown and jewels to go with it.




I'm doing very good at my SZK School of Siberian Studies photo shots, don't you think? I totally refused to look at mom! After all, a Princess does not look a peasant in the eye!

All this "posing" for the camera has really put me in a mood. I was finally getting a bit irritated at mom for trying to get me to sit this long without treats, so I finally bailed and went to my favorite place. Can you guess where that might be?

Hey mom! Will you just stop, and go make me my dinner please? A Princess needs her sustenance and some beauty sleep, ya know!?!?!

And, speaking of princesses, (figuratively speaking, of course) my very good friend Khyra, has awarded me with the Daily Blogger Award! Thank you so much Khyra!!!!

It is an award given to those that blog at least three times per week. I know I have been slacking.....er.....busy lately, and not able to blog as often as I like, but I promise to kick mom off the puter, (those SMS people talk too much) and get back to blogging more often!

The cool thing is, that Khyra got her award from my good friend, and fellow Princess, Eva! I love Eva, and I really miss her sister Tasha. But, we are all helping Eva move on, and hopefully, she will have a new sister soon to keep her company.

I am going to pass this award along to my friend Ari, the Canine Naturalist. She is sooo khool and very pretty with her blue eyes!! She has some of the best, and most beautiful adventures! I would love to visit her and see all the beautiful places she gets to visit!

Well, my adoring fans, and subjects, I am off to bed. It's been a long, hard day of Princessing. Seriously.

More Stupid Weather

Well, for the second time this week, we have had a tornado warning. The first tornado warning was Sunday morning about 2:30 a.m. and it went right over our house!!! We were very lucky! Our fence was flattened along the back, and we have lots of tree damage. The neighborhood less than a mile from us actually had a touch down, and houses were severely damaged. Luckily, no one was injured, because it came out of nowhere and with no warning.

Then, tonight, another stupid tornado warning!! While dad got us to the basement, mom was stuck at work. She works on the 26th floor in her building. Here is a picture she took out of the west window before the tornado siren went off.

It didn't look too bad to her at this point. When the tornado siren finally went off, she decided to stay in her office, cuz she is lazy and didn't want to go down 30 flights of stairs to the basement. The building security shuts down the elevators and locks down the building as soon as a tornado warning is given. And, even though this tornado was a long way from downtown, they do not let people leave. So, mom was stuck at work, and wasn't even able to leave, even though the tornado was way west of her.

But, then the sky changed and looked like this;

Finally, she decided to go to the basement. She was stuck there from about 7:20 p.m. until almost 8:30 p.m.!!! When they finally let everyone leave, she almost drown her car trying to get home. The rain was sooo heavy and fell so quickly, that the interstate she takes home was underwater in one area. There was lots of street flooding all over town. But, she did finally make it home at almost 9!!

Dad finally brought us all up from the basement when mom got home, and we were very happy to see her. We were sure to sniff her to make sure she was ok.

The sad thing is, that there was a touchdown north of Omaha in Little Sioux Iowa, where a Boy Scout troupe was camping. There were some deaths, and several injuries. Please keep all those poor people, and their families in your prayers. The Midwest sucks. I hate Nebraska!

I can't wait for fall to get here, cuz this weather is stupid, and dangerous, and I'm already sick of it.

Who turned on the stoopid heat around here! It was 92 degrees outside, and really humid! I spent most of the time in the basement on the nice cold tile floor.

Training?

To those annoying people who keep posting comments on my blog that you know a site where I can learn more about "dog training" and, if I want to check it out, they have a "superb" site, "recommended by dog trainers and veterinarians" on "clicker training." WTF??? Do you know who I am??? Pffffffffttttt!!!!!

First of all, I do NOT need trained. I do the training.

Second, those clicker things are highly annoying. I will chew it up and destroy it.

Third, get the hell off my blog before I come and squish you! It won't be pretty.

And finally, thank you for your attention to this matter. (Big, sharp toothed, snarky, Malagal grin)

It is with extreme sadness that I write this post. My very good friend Tasha, has lost her battle, and has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Run fast and free of pain sweet Tasha. We will meet again one day, and then we can play in the big doggie park at the bridge. I will miss you very much.

I know I've mentioned what a freak Samual is in previous posts. However, he has a new "thing" which no one has been able to figured out what the hell he is doing. He seems to feel the need to climb on the table beside the couch where mom sits. No idea why. He just decided out of nowhere that he wanted to climb up there. So he did.

Once again, proof that he is a freak. I rest my case. For now.

Please ignore the stupid human woman while she tries to talk to Sam. She acts as if he is going to talk back to her and she will understand him. Whatever!!

All I can do is shake my head in confusion, and try to figure out what is going through his tiny little pea brain.

New Territory

Mom and dad have removed some barriers around our shed to put up the new privacy fence. So, now we have a new place to check out.

Here are a couple photo's of our new "area" which Abby has decided is quite comfy. By the way, that big hole was dug by Samuel. He LOVES to dig!




Yep, she looks pretty comfy to me. Thank goodness I have "issues" with dirt, and prefer to stay clean and beautiful.

Final Video Installment

Well, this is it, the final installment of the Summi video saga. We had such a great time together, and I have saved the best for last!! Enjoy!

Yep, we sure did have fun!! But, since this play session was after all our walking, and digging, and hole investigating, we got tired pretty quickly! I can't wait for us to get together again soon!

On a side note, my wonderful friend Summi was just diagnosed with bilateral cataracts. He was acting a little "off" according to his mom, so she had him checked out. He's only 17 months old, so that is way to young to be getting cats in his eyes. Like my friend Khyra always says, "Khats are evil!" Now I know why she says that. All that cat hair in your eyes would make it hard to see.

So, if you could, please send some good vibes to my most special friend Summi, and his mummi too. I think she needs some cheering up, and since I'm not there, maybe some well wishes from all our doggie friends, will help. Even if just a little.

We all love you Summi!!! Especially me, your MalaSis! (Oh yeah, and Khyra too)
