For a few months, I lived in Oklahoma. Of course those months were during Tornado Season.
I found it absolutely fascinating. If I ended up staying there permanently, I'd probably be one of the crazies chasing them down for science.
We were literally "in" a few tornados. No big damage though. You never like hearing the broadcast, "And the funnel has just touched down at 61st and Riverside", the exact corner you lived on.
Layla wasn't born yet, so she wasn't with me. She'd have been howling at the sirens, I'm sure.
We've had lots of stormy weather here, so I've kept our mom up so she won't miss anything. Isn't that nice of me? The boys and Ammy test our sirens monthly, too. Tail wags, Storms
We have our monthly siren test here too, but can you believe that we can't really hear it from our house? I have lots of emergency vehicles to help with my singing practice! :)

Grins - not very enthusiastic signing. Must have been hot.

PeeEssWoo: Whoa PHbbbbbbbb - better pace yourself a bit more!
We hear that strange sound here too. We had a big microburst here last night, scary winds and tons of rain and noise.
You all sound great with your singing but the noise doesn't seem to bother you too much.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

Hi, Holly!
I can see you were not worried about that siren!
I think KL was looking for your protection!

Mochi
Poor puppies, they did not seem too happy to have their ears assaulted.
Great video
Remy and Flash
hey Holly,
I don't get those annoying sirens out here in the country, but I do get tornadoes and I think they are fun! As long as I don't get blown away.
Your samoyed fur-sib is very pretty, and was doing a good job of howling!
The shot of Khady pawing your nose was too cute for my human to stand. Humans are too easy!
Suka
Nice howls - is that Monty or Kona? We especially like KL's comment towards the end. She's such a cutie!
jack a-roo & miss moo
