Bed Hog

My friend Steve posted today about how he has been keeping his dad's spot on the bed nice and warm until his dad can move there. He is such a good boy to do that, and to also keep his mom company!

However, it reminded me of my own stupid brother, Samuel, who thinks dad's side of the bed is HIS. He does have good reason though. See, mom got Sam when he was only 8 weeks old, which was 9 1/2 years ago. Dad didn't come along and use that spot until 3 1/2 years ago. So, it does make sense why Sam still feels that is HIS spot. After all, it WAS his for over 6 years! Here is some proof, just like Steve's mom got, of Sam in HIS spot on the bed.

That's mom's big body pillow in the middle there. Sam also likes to "dig" up the covers and move them out of the way. Yes, as I have said many times before, he's weird.

Ohh.. I LOVE to lay in the bed. I personalyl like to lay hortizontal so that the humans can not lay in the bed. The remind me I have to lay vertical so they can fit in too. Humph! Oh, I like to dig up the covers too.

Meeka is the bed hog in our house. He jumps on, spins around and around and around (oh that makes sense!) and then digs at the covers and drools on Dad's pillow. Why he hasn't been evicted is beyond me.

Howrroooo, all 4 of us sleep on the bed, if they didn't have a king-size the humans would be sleepin' on the floor!
We definitely think Samuel has a valid claim in this case, if possesion is 9/10ths of the law, he's had possession twice as long as dad, so....
seems simple math to us!
Holly, STEP AWAY FROM THE GRAPE JUICE, IT'LL MAKE YOU WALK FUNNY, AND MAYBE EVEN FALL DOWN!! If you're really lucky you'll just "woo" funny so no puppy can understand you. And hangovers are NO fun. Leave the grape juice for the humans, as Turbo says "they're stupid" anyway. (mom says she resembles that remark, howrroorroo)
Stick to the virgin eggnog, it tastes better anyway.

Bama & the RHP

Hi, Holly
You have to understand him... it was HIS spot!!
I wouldn't be happy if the same happened to me!
Digging the pillows and covers are great!... Am I weird too??
Have a good night

Sam sounds an AWFUL lot like David. Honestly. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Hey Holly,

I love this picture. You can tell by the look in Sam's eyes--this is his side of the bed. He knows it! What's the problem? What do you humans not understand? Go sleep on the couch!
