My Gotcha Day
5 Years ago today I was rescued from a cornfield in northeast Nebraska. I was lonely, cold, dirty and starving.
This picture is from 3 days after I was brought to my new home. You can see how thin I was. Mom and dad found out I had a tapeworm, and that if they hadn't found me, I would have starved to death.
As soon as I got here, I made myself right at home on the couch.
This is still my most favorite spot in the house! I think I'll spend this special day in much the say way!
From starving and lonely, to well-fed and very loved. I couldn't be happier to have found such a wonderful furever home!
Thanks so much mom and dad, for finding me, and giving me the perfect home!

Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
It's a beautiful day here in my neighborhood. Blizzard conditions with wind gusts up to 50 mph, and lovely temps in the single digits to below zero!!! I don't think a northern breed dog could ask for a better day!!

Treat Jars
Our good friends Jack and Moo had a great idea for Howl-o-ween.
And, since we absolutely LOVE our Happy Hearts treats, we are more than happy to post our pics!
Khady is howlingly happy to have a full jar of treats!
Mmmmm, anticipation of the delicious goodies waiting for me!
We can't wait to visit our friends blogs and see their treat jars too. I bet there are some pretty cool ones out there!

My Toys
I don't know why it's necessary to try to take my toys away from me. As you all saw in my Wordless Wednesday post, I really try to keep them to myself. Apparently Dad thinks it's fun though.

Fun Foto Friday
Hey every buddy! Khady Lynn here. Last Sunday I got to go to our local humane society's annual walk for the animals. Only this year was extra special because, I got to be a part of the new rescue group that mom joined. It's Taysia Blue Siberian Husky Rescue! Finally!!! A Sibe rescue in our area! We are all VERY happy about that!
So, here I am when we first got there. I was really excited to get to see some of my Sibe friends from our previous get-together.
It was so cool because of all the Sibes I got to see! Just like this pretty girl!
And, this very handsome fella here! Guess who it was!
That's my handsome friend Rocco!!!
And, here is Rocco hanging out with Blue. His mom is the one who created the new rescue. We think she is awesome! He looks a lot like my Samoyed brothers, but he is actually just a woolly (long haired) Sibe. You don't see the woolly's very often.
Here I am hanging out with a very handsome Sibe who looks a lot like me, don't ya think?

I was so happy to have gotten to hang out with such cool friends! Especially my buddy Rocco (who you can see right behind me here)
I'm now looking forward to our next play session so I can see all my friends again. There's just something about hanging out with other pups who actually want to run around and can keep up with me that make me a happy girl! (don't mention that to Holly please!)
