Huzzy Wednesday

It's that time of month again. No, I know what you are thinking, so stop it! It's Huzzy/Studmuffin Pose Wednesday! Some of us SMS'ers are posting our huzzy/studmuffin poses the first Wednesday of the month, so here are a couple for October for you.

This is one of Samuel's playfull studmuffin poses. Yes, he's still a dork. Notice the vicious teeth as he is killing this poor stuffie!

Here is a discreet puppy huzzy pose of Khady. I do have to protect my baby sister ya know!

I am not participating this time. Mostly because the stupid humans have been too busy taking pictures of the mini monsterette and not getting any new photo's of me. I am feeling a bit neglected.

My Adventure

Hey everybuddy, it's me, Khady!! Holly is napping (no surprise there) so I am taking this chance to share my fun adventure from the weekend!

Mom and dad loaded me up in the car, and off we went. I'm not sure how long I was in the car cuz I took a little nap, but when I woke up, there was a lot of khool stuff to investigate!

Here is my first investigation. It's the Missouri River!

After I went wading, I decided to do some hunting!

I practiced by pouncing on as many bugs as I could sniff out!

After I played huntress for a while, I got to go hiking down a really khool trail!!!

I just love investigating all the fun smells!

And BUGS!! Did I mention how much fun bugs are to pounce on? Well, they ARE!

After all that hard work on the trail, I decided I needed a drink.

Wow! What a great adventure I had! I was so worn out, I slept all the way home! Everypup was very happy to see me when I got home, especially my big sis Holly! I think she missed me.

Till later pups! Have a great weekend! I might finally get to go see Summi!!!

New Friends

Hello every one!! I have met some really great Sibes, and they are called The Thundering Herd. They are a pack of six Siberian Huskies, and have some great adventures! They live in Maggie Valley North Carolina, and have some of the most beautiful views, and landscape I have ever seen!

They have their own blog, and you can find it here. They have a lot of fun, and you should really check out their blog, as they just recently joined the Dogs With Blogs community!

You can even meet each of them on their personal pages, which can be found here.

They don't have a lot of visitors, and since I have some great friends, I would really like if you could visit them, and add them to your friends lists. They have some great adventures, and you will really enjoy getting to know them. Not to mention, they are all soooo beautiful!!!

So, please stop over and visit my new friends, Natasha, Rusty, Kiska, Kodiak, Qannik, and Cheoah, and tell them Holly sent you!!

In Support of Meeshka

My good friend Meeshka is posting 100 times on her blog, in 5 days. She is doing this to support Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue, and all the homeless and foster dogs they are caring for. Please check out Meeshka's blog, and on her sidebar is a link to pledge.

So, to help support Meeshka, the SMS'ers are posting their huzzy and studmuffin pics for you all to admire! I thought I would throw in some of my better shots.

My huzzy pose the first time I met my good friend Summit the Super Mal!

Huzzy pose on my couch.

Huzzy pose for my lover boy Dave!

Baby Khady's huzzy pose.

Yes, she started early. This is from when she first came here at only 12 weeks old!

Well, I hope you have enjoyed out huzzy poses. Please go over the Meeshka's blog and help her to raise the donations she is gathering for all the needy Northern Breeds!!

Have a great night!

Labor Day

Hey everyone!! It's me, Khady Lynn!!! I've had a great Labor Day weekend so far. In celebration of labor, I worked really hard!

First, I inspected the fence for weeds and bugs.

Second, I smacked Samuel around a little.

Third, I tried to figure out a way to get Abby off my cold air vent.

Fourth, I chewed up this ball that dad found for me.

Fifth, I yelled at Samuel cuz he wouldn't play with me!

Sixth, I decided to beat up Holly. She's not as tough as everyone thinks. I mean, seriously, look how easy it was for me to pounce and chew on her!

Then later, I tried getting Samuel to play with me, again. He just yelled, like usual.

Finally, I decided to just do what any good Siberian would do........

I napped.

I definitely celebrated way too much.

Khady Lynn

Khady has been making herself right at home in my house. For those of you who think she's cute, here are some pics to keep you happy.

Checking out, and tasting the bushes.

Laying on the floor on the couch pillow with her favorite toy.

Playing with the talking gorilla.

Here she is checking out the bin full of Samuel and Kona's food.

She's decided that the bed, which Samuel thinks is his, is a pretty comfy place to relax. She really likes mom's body pillow.

Samuel is actually doing pretty well putting up with her (much like I am).

But, then again, I kind of like her better like this.....sleeping.

She even likes her crate! Well, as long as it has one of her toys in it to keep her company.

She has the huzzy pose down perfectly! Khyra will be so proud!

Mom thinks she has the cutest, sweetest looking face. Whatever!!!
She even has her snow nose already!

I like her most when she is not bugging me.

Like this.......

Oh well, I guess I have no choice but to put up with her. Apparently she is staying.

Diggin' It

As the leader of the pack (there's one for Khyra), and big sister to our newest member, it is my job to teach Khady the important things about being a Northern Breed dog. One of those lessons includes yard work. Aka - digging.

As Inspector General, I must oversee all work being done to the yard.

Here I am doing my job in supervising my baby, to make sure she does it correctly.

Well, all this talk of work, has made me sleepy, so back to my mattress for a nap.

Have a good week all!!

I'm Nice

Woo's everyone!

Yes, I know the title of this post might have some of you raising an eyebrow, but it's true, I really AM nice! And, my friends Thunder, Dakota, and Phantom of the OP Pack have given me and my little sis Khady this fantastic award!

Wasn't that nice of them?!! Especially to include the little monsterette! I guess she is nice, even though she is constantly bugging me. But, I do enjoy playing with her!

I guess it's ok if I share with her, since she is my puppy!

I really can't choose who to give this award to, because I think ALL my blogging friends are nice! So, if you are reading this, consider the award given to you too!! We are just sooo happy you all come visit us, even though I know I have been VERY lax at getting to all your blogs lately. Taking care of the monsterette keeps me very busy!

Have a great week everyone!! And thank you again, to my wonderful friends the OP Pack!!

What I Have To Deal With

This is what I have to deal with every day. The little monsterette won't leave me alone.

She's lucky I like her.

No, I'm not trying to eat her. Seriously.

Awards

While I have been concentrating on the new little monsterette (a.k.a. Khady) living in my house, I have been slow to acknowledge some very special awards that have been presented to me.

First, my friends Huffle Mawson, Suki of Team Husky, Thunder of the OP Pack, and our favorite Pirate, Captain Maverick have all awarded me the following award:

I feel so honored for so many of my friends to think my blog is brilliant!!! And, to prove just how sparkling and smart I am, the word "Brillante" is not spelled incorrectly, it is spelled that way in Italian and Spanish.

Captain Mav also gave me this award:

For the rules, please see Maverick's blog. Yes, I'm too lazy to post them here. And, I would like to tag all my friends, and even any new pup reading my blog for the first time.

The final award is from my friend Khyra, who gave all her SMS friends this special award.

And, since you have all been deprived of my beauty for so long, thanks to the monsterette, here is a picture of me to keep you satisfied for a while.

Have a good week everyone!

Crack Puppy

Khady is a little monsterette! Well, at least that's what I like to call her.

I swear though, she acts like she's on crack or something!

Notice how khalm, khool, and khollected I was. I'm simply trying to figure out what the heck her problem was!

I need a nap from just watching her!

A Sad Day

It is with an extremely heavy heart, and leaky eyes, that I say my friend Kelsey Ann of the Kapp Pack has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

I also learned that Timber, from Stella Louella's home has also gone to the bridge.

This is a very sad time for all of us, and we are soooo sorry for their families. They will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Run happy and pain free Kelsey Ann and Timber. May you both wear your Silver Harnesses with great pride.

You will see your humans again one day, until that time, keep watch over them.

Please visit both Kelsey Ann's and Timbers blog pages. I'm sure they could use some friendly wishes at this time of grief.

Working On My HULA Certificate

Hey there!! Khady here. While big sis is napping, I thought I would jump on and tell everypup, khitty and Girl Girl how good I have been when it comes to working on my HULA Certificate.

Here are some wonderful examples of my work so far;

1. Demonstrate disruptive behavior.

I like to demand my breakfast and dinner. Only this time, dad decided it was a good way to get us all to howl. I just wanted my food!

2. Cause the humans to freak out for no reason.

One night I tried to jump up on mom and dad's bed, where Samuel was eating his food, and didn't make it. I hit the floor and started in with the Husky Death Screams. Mom came running from the other room, and immediately picked me up and started checking me out, cooing at me and asking if I was ok. I then started to wiggle out of her arms, so she set me down, and off I bounced.....perfectly fine!

3. Destroy something.

I'm doing very good on this one!

I'm learning that rugs are tasty, and fun to unravel!

Yep! Those are dad's glasses! He left them where I could reach them. Taught HIM a lesson, didn't I?!!

Well, I think that's pretty good for only being here for a week! I'm still working on the other requirements, but am pretty sure I can have those knocked out fairly quickly!

I Need A Bigger Pool

Harooo every pup, khitty and Girl Girl! My new big sister Holly let me blog. Isn't she nice? I really like her, and she has been really nice in welcoming me.

But, I do have one thing to complain about. The pool here is a bit small. For some reason, all I can fit into it is my feety feet and snooter.

This just isn't working for me.

Finally, I just gave up, and decided to take a nap.

After all, it IS a tough job trying to fit in that little pool.

Later!!

Khady and Lilly

My new little sister, Khady, and her sister Lilly sure had a great time this weekend. Here are some videos of them doing zoomies around the yard. Boy, are they fast!!!

This is Khady doing zoomies by herself.

And, here is Khady and Lilly together.

And fun with WATER!!!

Well, I hope you enjoyed the videos. They make me tired just watching them!

Pup Pup Puppies!!!!

We are puppy sitting this weekend for the remaining two Deadliest Catch puppies, Lilly and Skipper. They are both going to their new families this weekend! Mom is having quite a good time with them, and has taken TONS of video and pics.

So far, we are all getting along really well with them. Sam, well, is being Sam, and yelling at them. I am trying to keep everypup in line, and making sure they are being good, and not bothering my visitors!

They had a great time running around the yard and playing. Mom is working on getting the video ready to go, but it takes some time.

In the mean time, you will all just have to wait to see the pics and video until Saturday evening.

Talk about a great suspenseful ending.......

Final Episode From My Visit

Here is another video of me and Dave. He is still yelling at me. I sure wish he understood that it wasn't my fault that it took so long for me to visit. Oh well, I still love him anyway!

And, here is a photo of me listening intently to some really good advice about Dave from the Supreme Commander of the Army of Four, Stormy!

And here is a pic of me being very nice to Ammy! She is such a nice girl! Although, the look on her face says she might think I'm a little strange!

Well, I hope you all enjoyed hearing, and seeing my great adventure to visit the Army of Four! I sure hope I can go back again some day!! I think Dave and I definitely need more time together!!
