My Stupid Diet

Today I went in for my annual shots. Mom and dad were taking bets on how much I weighed. Mom thought I had lost weight, and dad said he thought I weighed more! I didn't think that was very nice of him to say. Especially considering I have been starved and forced to eat green beans for several months now! But, then again, I did have quite a Christmas dinner yesterday!

Well, my weight actually changed by 12 pounds!!!

I went from 122 to 110!!!!!! Yep, mom was right, I lost weight!!!!! She was very happy that the stupid green beans have helped me slim up a bit. But, then I was afraid I wouldn't be her mini moose any more!! She gave me kisses and told me how proud she was of me, and still said I was her mini moose! (whew!!)

So, it seems my friend Summit has now passed me up and I am not the biggest Mal. But that's ok, I'm still capable of squishing anything that gets in my way!

Christmas Day Fun

Hello everyone!! I wanted to tell you all about my wonderful Christmas Day!

First, I got a new Mini Moose! The boys killed the one Khyra sent me. Well, it's still here, but the stuffing is gone. Anyway, my new Mini Moose, has a squeaky in it's chest, and rattles in it's feet! It's a lot of fun! Just check out these videos!

Boy was that a lot of fun!!! I had a great time shaking it!

I was even nice enough (sorta) to let Abby play with it.

I did get in a "little" trouble, but I went ahead and let her play with it. Sharing is not something I'm good at.

And, finally, my Christmas dinner! Due to a some issues regarding allergies with the other pups (Samuel and Kona mostly) they didn't get the same thing as I did, but we all did get a little something. Here is MY dinner.

Wow, was it ever good! As you notice, I left the boring green beans for last. Those I'm use to getting every day, so wasn't too excited about eating them. Although, I was a good girl and did clean my plate!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too. We had a great day just being lazy, as usual.

My Gotcha Day

It's my Gotcha Day! That's right, two years ago today, mom and dad found me and rescued me! That was the greatest day of my life.

And, to celebrate my Gotcha Day, mom and dad got me this cool toy! Here are some videos of me and yes, that freak boy Samuel, playing with it.

Samuel likes to take my stuffies outside. That's what happened to my mini moose and it was killed (i.e. destuffed) by Samuel and Monty.

Here he is playing keep-away from me and mom. He's quite the poop head!

He's still being stingy. But don't worry, see what happens next!

Dad came out to help me by distracting the others! And so I finally got to play with my new monkey toy!! This time I promise not to let Samuel eat the leg. Mom keeps bringing it in the house, and somehow, it keeps ending up back outside! Hopefully it won't end up with the same fate as my mini moose. Although, we do still like playing with it's carcass!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! I know I sure will. And mom has promised to give me a little Christmas dinner too! I'll be sure she gets pictures for you all to see.

I also want to thank you all for being my friends. You are truly the best friends a pup could ask for, and it has been such a pleasure getting to know so many of you over the past year. God bless you all!! Stay safe and warm! Be sure to give your humans lots of snuggly time!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!

Soccer Dog

She may be almost 13 years old, and gimpy, but Abby sure has a lot of spunk left in her.

Even at her age, she LOVES to play! Today, while the humans were hooking up the new plasma TV they purchased, Abby decided to play with the soccer ball dad found this summer. I think we should sign her up and fire that Becham guy.

Here is some video of her playing. I think she has a good chance of making the team!

Not bad for an old gimpy girl, I'd say!!

Cute Pics of Me

Because I know you all enjoy seeing cute pictures of me, here are some for your enjoyment. In the first one, in case you can't tell, I'm resting my face in my empty bowl. Hoping mom will feel bad and give me more food. Like, the one sitting next to me that has Samuel's left overs in it.

My cute tummy.

I just love eating snow! It's sooo cool and tasty!

Well, have a great weekend everydog and GG!! The lazy human woman is off from work until January 2nd, so hopefully she will get me caught up!

A Package for ME

I got a package!!! It was from my be-woo-tiful friend Mayamarie! And guess what was inside!?!? Here, take a look!

I was not very happy that mom wanted to take away MY cookies! I was nice enough to share, but she wouldn't let me finish the whole bag! Not very seasonably giving is she?

My Visitor

A while ago (I'm still very behind on posting thanks to the lazy human woman) I had a visitor. It was Summit the Super Mal's mom and dad!!! I was sooo happy to see them! Here are some cool pics of me doing what I do best....

Notice how the others are trying to hoard in on my attention. I was not too happy, but, I guess since I was the one getting the MOST attention, I decided to let it go.

And, she brought me a baby stuffie! It was a mini moose!! Isn't it cute? I sure look cute with it.

Summit's mom even brought me some fur from the crew! We took turns sniffing it really good!

I was sooo happy that Summit's mom and dad got to visit with us! I sure hope they come back again, only this time, I hope they bring Summit with them!

Good-bye My Friend

It is with an extremely sad, and heavy heart, (and tears pouring down moms face) that I tell you my sweet and beautiful friend, Thrawn, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Thrawn was a tough ol' guy, living with several medical conditions, including seizures. It always broke mom's heart when he posted that he had another seizure. Mom knows how hard those are to watch cuz Abby use to have them too.

Thrawn was also a Sibe after my own banana-loving heart.

I sure hope they have banana's at the bridge for Thrawn.

Wear your silver harness with pride, and run pain free once again, as you greet your brother Dakota, and wait for the rest of your family to join you one day.

Bed Hog

My friend Steve posted today about how he has been keeping his dad's spot on the bed nice and warm until his dad can move there. He is such a good boy to do that, and to also keep his mom company!

However, it reminded me of my own stupid brother, Samuel, who thinks dad's side of the bed is HIS. He does have good reason though. See, mom got Sam when he was only 8 weeks old, which was 9 1/2 years ago. Dad didn't come along and use that spot until 3 1/2 years ago. So, it does make sense why Sam still feels that is HIS spot. After all, it WAS his for over 6 years! Here is some proof, just like Steve's mom got, of Sam in HIS spot on the bed.

That's mom's big body pillow in the middle there. Sam also likes to "dig" up the covers and move them out of the way. Yes, as I have said many times before, he's weird.

Another "Brain Damage" Example

Yep, here it is, another shining example of why I think Samuel has brain damage.

What a freak.

However, it is continued proof that the humans don't feed us enough, just like I always said!

Snow!

Just thought you might enjoy a photo of me (as if you wouldn't) in our lovely snow!

Notice the snow on the end of my nose? Here's how I got it there.....

Yep, that's me licking the snow off the patio. It was very tasty and cold! Abby likes it's too. It had just started snowing that morning and we were really enjoying ourselves. We ended up getting about 4 inches! We're suppose to get more Saturday, so cross your paws!

Tragedy in Omaha

There has been a horrible tragedy in Omaha. Luckily, mom was at work so she is safe.

Summit's mom was concerned enough to call mom to be sure she wasn't out shopping! Wow, how sweet is that!?! Mom was very touched that she did that.

Please say a prayer for those who lost a loved one in this terrible ordeal. Our hearts and prayers will be with them.

We are also saying our prayers for the people and animals in the floods in Washington and Oregon. December doesn't seem to be starting off as a very happy time for a lot of people.

Sorry

I am seriously behind in my posting. The stupid human woman has been way too busy and won't let me on the computer. I haven't even been able to read all my friends blogs! I am so ashamed, and I have a lot of catching up to do. However, I guess she has had some legitimate reasons.

I am also busy trying to get my DWB Christmas cards out. My paws are starting to get cramps from addressing all those envelopes! But, I promise to get back in the groove as soon as I can.

The stupid humans are going out of town again on Saturday afternoon, and leaving us home all alone Saturday night. But, they will be home early Sunday morning, so we won't need cousin Tracy to hang with us this time. However, once again, this takes away from my blogging time.

Hey Tubey and Meeshka, when are you two taking over so I can be in charge of my own computer?

In the mean time, until I can get everything coordinated and updated, you will all just need to be patient. I was going to post a new photo of myself, but since dad messed up mom's laptop, where all the photo's are, I can't even do that. (eyes rolling) *sigh*
